Telangana EV Charging Station Registry

Every charging station this project knows about, with the source it came from, when it was last verified, and an honest grade for how much of it is actually established fact.

The headline finding: public EV charging data in India is not good enough to site capital on. Of records here, only have published coordinates and published charger power and recent verification. Everything else is partially inferred. We publish this rather than hide it, because a supply gap that is really a data gap is the most expensive mistake in site selection.

How records are graded

A — coordinates + power + verified <12 months B — coordinates + (power or verified <24 months) C — geocoded coordinates, or power imputed D — no coordinates, or source >4 years old
138 stations are known to exist but cannot be mapped. TGREDCO publishes GOI-sanctioned counts for REIL (57), EESL (49) and NTPC (32) at city level only — Hyderabad, Karimnagar and Warangal — with no coordinates. They are recorded here at grade D and deliberately excluded from the opportunity model, because we do not know where they are. Their absence means opportunity scores in those three cities are likely overstated. That caveat matters most in Karimnagar and Warangal, which the index ranks highly.
Operator names are not yet normalised. Different sources spell the same company differently — "ChargeZone" and "Chargezone (India)" are one operator, as are "Reliance BP Mobility" and "JIO BP Pulse (India)". The 11 names below therefore represent roughly 9 real operators. Merging them requires confirming corporate identity rather than guessing from strings, so they are left separate and flagged. Against 20+ operators known to be active in Telangana, coverage remains the registry's largest gap.

Submit a correction

If you operate a station, or know one is missing, wrongly located, closed, or mis-rated, tell us. Submissions are reviewed before anything changes — nothing you send goes live automatically, and we will ask for a public source before applying it.

How submissions are handled

  1. Your submission is queued for review. Nothing changes in the registry at this point.
  2. We check the public source you provided. Submissions without a verifiable source are not applied.
  3. Accepted corrections are added to the next registry build, with your source recorded as the record's provenance and the confidence grade recalculated.
  4. The change appears in the published registry and, if it has coordinates, in the opportunity model.

We do not publish submitter names or email addresses. Operators who want a bulk data-sharing arrangement can write to support@evinfraadvisory.in.
